Kirkwood Circle is a 13-story luxury condominium with 64 resident tenants and townhomes just south of Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza. We were honored to work with their community to renovatote their main building lobby, reception area and mailroom. With a few walls moved we were able to turn 3 rooms into one large mailroom, so now the staff, mail folks and homeowners have a more seamless experience in their daily routine. My favorite part of the project was learning how the dogs of Kirkwood Circle are greeted daily. They know the exact cabinet that the treats are stored in, so our renovation involved keeping their treat spot safe. We brought in classic hospitality furnishings and adorned the walls with pieces to bring new energy, like this capture of Nina Simone performing on stage at the Newport Jazz Festival on July 4, 1968 in Newport, Rhode Island. Our grand opening happy hour in the new lobby was a hit with the space full of residents that love and enjoy their new space.
